Tarina Quelho graduated in Performing Arts from Unicamp, is a somatic educator, certified practitioner and teacher for the School for Body-Mind Centering®. In the former Estúdio Nova Dança, she completed a free training in contemporary dance and began a practice on teaching dance and improvisation through a somatic approach. Since 2000 she has been developing her own projects and also collaborates with other artists such as Cristiane Paoli-Quito, Cristian Duarte, Adriana Grechi, Clarice Lima, Sheila Arêas and José Fernando de Azevedo, amongst others. Co-creator of DR Project (2006/13) – a collective that existed as an attempt for developing a continuous project in the dance field. As a movement educator she has been working in different contexts, such as dance, theater, tv and film. In recent years she has dedicated herself to studying the relationship between the construction of perception and the sensoriality. She is currently a dance teacher at the School of Dramatic Art – EAD/ ECA/ USP.
